Course Description |

The American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies. Optional topics include CPR and AED, and Environmental Emergencies. A written examination (First Aid) and skills test (CPR and AED) must be successfully completed in order to receive a course completion card at the course end. Course length will be approximately 7 1/2 hours with Infant CPR or 6 1/2 hours without Infant CPR. First Aid only will be approximately 3 1/2 hours and will cost $30.00.
