Basic First Aid participants learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of sudden illness and injuries. Crucial information about how to deal with emergencies like bleeding, shock, burns, strains, fractures, allergic reactions, diabetic and seizures is shared. Intended Audience: Individuals who require or desire elementary first aid knowledge and skills with a focus on adults, children, or both; including emergency response teams in business and industry, school bus drivers, adult residential care personnel, child care workers, teachers, parents, and babysitters. Prerequisites: None (CPR & AED recommended) ASHI Approved Training Materials: ASHI Basic First Aid for the Community and Workplace Student Workbook. Included in cost of course. Universal First Aid (Adult and Pediatrics): 5 Hrs |
