Course Description |

This program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. Intended Audience: Any employee who has a reasonable anticipation of contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials as a result of performing designated job duties, including, but not limited to; healthcare workers, public safety personnel, housekeeping and custodial workers, educational and correctional workers and designated first aid providers. Prerequisites: None Course Length: Approximately 2 Hours ASHI Approved Training Materials: ASHI Bloodborne Pathogens Student Handbook, provided in the initial course cost. If certification is chosen, participants must pass a written exam and performance evaluation at the end of the course. Otherwise, documentation will be a copy of the attendance roster for file. |
