Pet First Aid is the immediate care given to an injured or suddenly ill pet as temporary assistance until complete vet care is available. Properly applied first aid can save your pet’s life, reduce recovery time, and be the difference between temporary disability and permanent injury or even death. |

This program concentrates on basic first aid care. It is not intended to replace veterinary care, but rather to instruct the pet owner on how to save a pet’s life during an emergency or to minimize a pet’s trauma after an emergency. Intended audience: Absolutely any pet owner concerned enough to want to gain valuable information that could save the life of his/her pet in the future. Prerequisites: None Approximate Course Length: 4 Hours All training materials are included in the course price and will be distributed the day of the course. All training is approved by the ASPCA. No certification card is awarded. |
